Stickybits: Works with iphone/ipod and allows you to create barcodes which you can stick on to any object and tag virtual data to it. e.g. in Business studies I have used it to create business cards with a bar code attached, which when scanned by the ipod touch brings up pictures of the students and their resumes.Cost: free

It is already available for Android and the Apple app is coming soon. It can also be accessed from any mobile device without the app by going to m.socrative.com
