Apps for teaching

The following apps are all either free or low cost.

Available for Android and Apple devices

Stickybits: Works with iphone/ipod and allows you to create barcodes which you can stick on to any object and tag virtual data to it. e.g. in Business studies I have used it to create business cards with a bar code attached, which when scanned by the ipod touch brings up pictures of the students and their resumes.Cost: free This is an app that potentially replaces expensive voting systems.  It is currently in Alpha (first stage of testing) and free to use. It is already available for Android and the Apple app is coming soon.  It can also be accessed from any mobile device without the app by going to

Audioboo - record sound over a picture and share easily.
